Polylactic acid, also known as polylactide, belongs to the polyester family. It is a polymer synthesized through the polymerization of lactic acid as the primary monomer and is commonly referred to as “corn plastic.” With abundant and renewable feedstock—primarily L‑lactic acid derived from corn or cassava—it is produced via a series of processes, including condensation polymerization, depolymerization, purification, and further polymerization, resulting in a novel, fully biodegradable polyester material.

Flexible Composite Graphite Bipolar Plate Extrusion Production Line

Bipolar plates are primarily classified into graphite bipolar plates (including rigid graphite and flexible graphite types), composite‑material bipolar plates, and metal bipolar plates.
